July 31, 2017 The Maguire Twins had a jazz workshop at Ani Middle School, Akita, Japan. The students learned how to improvise and to play solos. To close off the workshop, the students performed a mini concert for the teachers at the end.
We are back in Kitaakita, where we started. We had a really cool back drop of traditional Japanese calligraphy titled "挑戦＝Challenge" by Hokuyo High School Calligraphy Club. Thank you all for coming to support us! We'll be back again.
Jazz legends, Shigeharu Mukai on trombone and Yuichi Inoue on piano, joined us on our final show in Tokyo. It was a hell of a fun show with a magic show done by Hiroo Sato included during intermission.
